"Oh my God," Kasey said when she finally brought Lindsey inside her apartment. "When you said to pick you up at the lab I didn't expect this!"

Lindsey and her team of scientists had been working on a serum to reduce animal tissue to one third its original size. The idea was to sell the serum to the transportation industry to allow more people on a plane, a train, or even a coach bus for long distance travel. "I know, Lindsey, but we had to test it on someone, so I volunteered. Just help me inside the apartment." Lindsey opened the door to her place and let Kasey lightly pad into the vast living room.
