Folders for like manga to be gathered is a possibility, though up til now we generally only put completed manga into folders. Still, if others believe that may make it easier to discover and identify unknown manga it could be a useful solution.
As for your query regarding the images on the front pages; all the images that are approved will appear on the front page in the order they were uploaded in real-time. Sometimes an image will float around in queue for some time, especially if the queue does not get emptied before additional images are added to it from uploaders. This can in some cases mean that an image will float around for a week or two before finally being approved.
When that happens the image can appear on other pages for the first time, since newer images were uploaded first and filled the front page.
When you notice new images appearing on other pages, you know it was an image that had been stuck in the queue a while, (as a lot of time there are hundreds of images in the key waiting to be moderated with new images pouring in every day)
