I cheated on this one halfway through.
1364 squares of 8 by 8 pixels used to censor this one, all of them had to be rotated 180 degrees.
Someone asked if it could be automated when I mentioned those numbers, and then I realized I could write an AutoHotkey script to do it.
So I did, and it can flip all 144 squares in a 96 by 96 pixel area in less than 2 minutes.
