Eyes closed, she breathed in deep, the frigid air and the slight odor of ozone tickling her nostrils. Exhaling loudly, and turning her head, her gaze went off in a few different directions. The slight curve of the horizon was a curious sight to behold. A cold front was washing over the Goddess, but it was nothing more than a gentle breeze, tickling her skin.
Sitting there, her body felt a little lighter than usual, as it seemed gravity itself was losing its grip on this titan. Looking down, she drank in the sight of her throne. Her knees and legs were creating mountain ranges in the delicate mud with her expanse, feeling the dampness of the aquifers that she was rearranging, simply by existing. Her growth rate was continuous, and in fact probably accelerating exponentially. A warmth was beginning to rise as the massive legs began to be greeted by the upper layers of the Earth's hot mantle. It was quite cozy, like the plush heated seats of a luxury vehicle.
It was quite curious, all the sounds were muffled, as if they were stuck in a fly trap. Surely all the destruction below was making a racket, but she hadn't heard a thing, or was the speed at which the noise traveled just too slow? She could have heard everything in the world, if only it had wanted to be known.
Witnessing her thigh about to crash into a large cloud, the giantess tilted her head and watched curiously. To her surprise it was not pushed away, but instead turned into microscopic drops on her expanding skin, the white fluff disappearing entirely. Once again looking at the ground beneath her, she mused about all of the devastation her body had caused, and was continuing to spread. This massive being was the World's newest extinction event. 'This is just how things were meant to be,' she thought to herself whimsically. 'I'm not even trying to do anything at this point.' Surveying the geography in her vicinity, even sitting on her legs, she was taller than everything else on the Planet.
Even the entire continent she was on was beginning to look rather small, puny even. How much longer before she outgrew it? The vast oceans didn't seem so big, in fact she could see the continents on the other side of the deep blue seas. Far away lands, exotic locations, that would have been an entire days ordeal to travel and get to... Now?... They were just a crawl away.
But then the old city she used to live in caught her attention. Blinking several times and bringing her arm out, marveling that she could actually reach it from here if she tried. It was so far away yet only in arm's length out. The place that was once home, all those years ago. The metropolis that had wasted her time, caused her so much undue stress, and the worst sin of all... charging ludicrous prices for parking. All of that, was now being shadowed by a gargantuan hand, hovering in the stratosphere. Her other hand drifted in front of her mouth as her mind pondered what she was now capable of.
Could I?....... Should I?..... Dare I?.......
She simply let her hand fall.
