Also, when I upload the more dark pics, I'll be sure from now on to manually add that cruel tag. I also second the idea of having a cruel filter (I like the cruel stuff, but yeah, people should be allowed to screen for it).

The cruel filter is a good idea.
But I think a scatological filter should be an option too. I, and probably a lot of others would find it useful.
