Who is this giant purple lady?

Her name is Eris, an evil Greek goddess and a villainess in DC comics

Actually, her name is Strife, Eris is a character from that animated Sinbad movie.

I was reading Wonder Woman, found this godess who decides to be a giantess for a while and thought "I know what site would love this..."
(I also like to think that while giant, she secretly had some 'fun' with a couple of the Amazons, possibly just wishful thinking but given how she's posed and the way she acts in the Beach scene...)

Well, given that 'Eris' in Greek MEANS 'Strife'... admittedly, the more common translation is 'Discord'. In the myth, she's one of the three children of Ares (War), the other two being Phobos (Fear or Panic) and Deimos (Terror or Dread).

In myth, she's also the person who left the golden apple that started the divine beauty contest which led to the Trojan War. Turning people against each other is part of what she does. She often has fun with people, yes. She'd probably also deliberately not have 'fun' with some people who wanted it while letting them know that she'd had fun with others in order to make them jealous.

@DudeMeistro actually writer Brian Azzarello reintroduced the character of Eris in the New 52 relaunched Wonder Woman renaming her "Strife", she's still the goddess of Chaos and Discord...
