This may sound nitpicky, but the [species]_girl tags are usually for monster girls (cat girl, dog girl, etc.), while anthros just have their species with no addendum attached.

Looks like a canine to me.

You misunderstood, it is a wolf but I'm saying the tag should just be wolf instead of wolf_girl, since the latter form is usually used for monster girls.

I'm not sure why it would just be wolf when it has very human features. Usually I just call these furry drawings or anthropomorphic art. It appears to be half woman or girl and half canine, so wolf girl or wolf woman seems like the easiest way to describe what this is. I guess it technically also qualifies as monster as well. Its good thing this is just a cartoon. If it were real this this would be nightmare fuel, so monster wolf girl it is then.

It doesn't have "very" human features. Being an anthropomorphic character means she's just a wolf that walks on two legs and talks. Monster girls on the other hand are still very human women with additional or different body parts, like demons or lamias. Just check the monster_girl tag and see for yourself. Whether the tag is technically correct or not isn't the point, it's a matter of practicality. The site has very messy tags, very often it's hiding the same type of content under different keywords. Type in furry, wolf and this won't be there while a ton of other anthro wolves will, a lot more than under the wolf_girl tag might I add.

Fuck, make me a mod and I'll fix everything myself. I'm both autistic a

Sorry, misclicked there.

If you presented a silhouette of this, a person and wolf all standing side-by-side, most people would identify this as being closer to human shape than wolf shaped. Cover the mouth nose and ears, and its just some persons boobs, legs, hair doo, belly, crotch, weird looking hands & feet. This is more girl than wolf. The tag is accurate. Just leave it alone or we can keep going until the mods get involved.

I'm starting to feel baited here, I don't know how to explain tags any better to you.

Using different tags for the same content is bad, it just makes everything harder to find. The "wolf" tag has far more wolf girls in it than "wolf_girl", so it's better we keep using "wolf". For example this site has in_shoe, inside_shoe, insole, shoe_insertion and shoe_entrapment tags - 5 different tags (that I know of, could be more) for what is essentially the same thing, person stuck in a shoe. There is no point to scatter content on the count of technicalities like "oh but it looks like a girl", it just serves to make the site harder to use. And as to why I say it's better to use wolf instead of wolf_girl, I already stated. There's already a lot more images of wolf furries tagged as wolf. It just comes to practicality and ease-of-use, nobody wants to go through two or three different tags to find what they want.

The only tags I like to have are the artist and/or character name(s). From there I can usually find or filter out content. For example I dislike gore and futa so much they are upsetting, kind of like someone shitting in front me while eating, that i just filter out artists that typically do work with those themes.
