I'm starting to feel baited here, I don't know how to explain tags any better to you.
Using different tags for the same content is bad, it just makes everything harder to find. The "wolf" tag has far more wolf girls in it than "wolf_girl", so it's better we keep using "wolf". For example this site has in_shoe, inside_shoe, insole, shoe_insertion and shoe_entrapment tags - 5 different tags (that I know of, could be more) for what is essentially the same thing, person stuck in a shoe. There is no point to scatter content on the count of technicalities like "oh but it looks like a girl", it just serves to make the site harder to use. And as to why I say it's better to use wolf instead of wolf_girl, I already stated. There's already a lot more images of wolf furries tagged as wolf. It just comes to practicality and ease-of-use, nobody wants to go through two or three different tags to find what they want.
