If I recall correctly the original image thread had some people that were generally disgusted by it for some reason (which like, there are other, much more graphic uploads on here, this one isn't particularly of note in regards to this community). So maybe it was reported into oblivion, or perhaps a mod at the time saw the complaints and was like 'aight'. Just a theory.
