The army had no idea what they were dealing with. The patient had begun to expand in size after taking the experimental super solder serum. The military fearing they'd created something they couldn't keep in check immediately ordered her termination. They'd put her straight in front of a firing squad but when they opened fire the bullets bounced off. She then grew and grew - some of her grew more than the rest it was noted by the scientists trying to make sense of what was happening. Using her now enlarged size she escaped the base and headed for the city.
The army chiefs decided to use full force and sent tanks after her seeing how little the bullets did. They caught up to her in the middle of the metropolis. She was obviously not used to have such a curvy body and was busy trying to keep herself covered despite her stretched and torn attire. The tank commander ordered that they should get as close as possible before firing to ensure a kill. But when the shell went off there was a gasp that rocked the city. The patient's size increased exponentially.
The scientists back at base had finally worked out what was going on - the formula was allowing the patient to convert kinetic energy into size. The rushed to the chiefs to give their findings but it was too late, they'd already launched the missiles.
Meta: This one turned out better than I thought it would. I love the idea of a giantess who can grow in response to a threat - it lets the little people think they have a chance before they realise how unstoppable the giantess is.
