There were many rumours about what had happened to your best friend after she'd finished college. Some said she'd undergone a makeover, others said she had achieved enlightenment as part of some sort of cult. What everyone agreed on was that she'd disappeared into the mountains. Now that you had the equipment and time you decided to go into the mountains too and find out what had happened to her.
You'd been travelling along one of the more remote trails in the higher reaches of the mountains for some days. You were shrouded in fog when you heard her voice up ahead. She was in conversation with someone, though you couldn't hear the other person. She must have been on the trail in front so you pressed on at a quicker pace. You were following her voice for some time. You quickened your pace more hoping to catch up but still you hadn't come across her. Eventually the track descended out of the fog, and thats when you finally saw her.
To say she was enourmous was an understatement. She was like a Lovecraftian Elder God in size, but far more beautiful. She was good looking when you'd last seen her, but now she was stunning. You realised she was addressing some tiny people - well tiny compared to her, they were probably the same size as you just very far away. They were all wearing strange robes and appeared to be chanting. You'd stopped in your tracks when you'd seen her and could now work out what she was saying to the people below.
"Yes, keep worshipping, that's it. You want a bigger Goddess right? Then make me bigger. Bigger. Bigger!" she whispered to them in a husky voice that filled the air.
You couldn't believe your eyes as you could see her swelling up even larger. You were so transfixed on her enourmous form that you wern't watching your footing, you slipped and skidded down a scree pile for some distance. Thankfully you came to a safe stop without any injury. You got up, brushed yourself off and wandered back over to the track. This was when you felt two enormous eyes focus on you. You looked up to see the giant face of your friend looking down on you.
"Oh, hey." her voice rumbled over you, "I was wondering when you'd get here."
