To say she was letting success go to her head was an understatement, it was going to everywhere in her body.
The rising star had noticed her growth after her first film, an indie art-house piece, was released. At the festival it was first shown at she'd ripped out of her dress on the red carpet. After each interview in the press junket afterwards she felt herself inching up as more and more people paid attention to her.
Pretty soon the star was able to put together what was happening; the more famous she got - the bigger she got. She knew this because this was exactly what she'd wished for at the fortune-telling machine before starting on the film. She'd wished to be a big star, with the emphasis on big. Of course now whatever magic lurked behind the machine was fulfilling her wish literally. No doubt this was meant to be some sort of genie-style 'careful what you wish for' lesson but she was loving being getting bigger - and she wanted more.
Unfortunately after its initial showing the film flopped and was seen by only a few. Thankfully one of those few who was a casting director who spotted her potential. The director was looking for fresh talent for a new film and offered her the leading role. She snapped his hand off as soon as he mentioned that it would be a more mainstream affair than her last outing.
After months of filming alongside a cast of other fresh talents it was the night of the premier. The marketing for the film had already brought her enough fame to grow substantially taller. Her co-star sidled up to her as they posed for the photographers on the way in.
"Damn girl." she said through her smiling teeth, "I knew you were tall when we filmed but I don't remember you being this big."
The star responded through her own smile, "Well, I am a rising star."
"Yeah you are!! This film is going to make us huge!" her co-star squealed excitedly.
The star laughed in response, knowing she was going to be more than huge.
As the two posed the press yelled out questions, one in particular caught the star's attention.
"Are you two excited to hear about the tickets selling out for the first showings?"
"Oh, have we sold out?" the star replied, "I guess that means a lot of people are going to be watching us tonight."
The star could already feel her clothes tightening. Her breasts, already bigger than her co-star's head, were starting to rise up out of her dress. The showings were going to start within the hour, and soon everyone would remember her name.
She was really looking forward to hitting the big time.
