'The Virus' had been the closest humanity had ever come to total disaster. It was a fitting name for the super-villain, not only was she an expert hacker but she also had the ability to create copies of herself - any image of her would soon become a copy.

After her first appearance in the world of superheroes and villains the press soon found out about her powers the hard way. They'd shown the villain on the local news, how could they not? She was stunningly beautiful and wore nothing but swimwear. Soon there were 100s of reports of her copies climbing out people's TVs. Thankfully, the average size of televisions in the area meant that all her copies were no bigger than a few inches tall and could all be defeated with ease. After that the media learned not to show her image.

That was when her computer skills came into play. She created a virus which showed an image of herself on all devices it infected. The world was nearly overrun with billions of tiny copies of the villain within days. A resistance was quickly formed by military forces worldwide and together they were able to fight back against the hoards of beautiful, yet vicious, copies.

Though many of the copies were tiny, most having jumped out of smart phone screens, there were some exceptions. The giant copy which climbed out of the Times Square screen proved difficult for the resistance to bring down. But after a huge effort to destroy all her copies and wipe out all traces of the virus the resistance won back the planet.

The original villain had been destroyed along with her copies during the fight back - The Virus was behind humanity, and slowly humanity began to forget her.

Years later the world was pretty much the same as it had been before the near-apocalypse. People drove to work, politicians hid the truth and advertising companies found new ways to try and grab the public's attention.

You hated having to work in advertising but jobs were hard to find so you took what you could. Your engineering skills were at least being put to good use. You'd been working on setting up the super projector for years now. The idea for it had been around from even before The Virus had ravaged the world - after that its development had been placed on hold. You'd been put in charge of finally bringing the idea to fruition.

The super-projector was intended to project advertisements from small aircraft across entire landscapes. They were intended to advertise to airplane passengers - the idea was that no one would be able to ignore a company logo which stretched across hills and cities.

Today was the first test of the super-projector. You were up in the back of the biplane and pointed the device towards the local town being used as the testing site. You switched on the device and heard the hum of it powering up. You looked down on the landscape below to see the result - it was working! You saw the trial image you'd loaded, just a fake logo, presented across the town as clear as day.

You were about to take a photo of your success when the image below flickered. You checked the device then looked down again to see the image had changed. It was a picture of a woman who looked vaguely familiar. It took you a few moments to realise who it was - it was The Virus! You rushed to turn the projector off but it was too late, the image moved - it was her.

As the projector light died the enormous copy of the Virus remained. She stretched causing untold damage to the town below her.

"Finally!" you heard her sigh, her voice clear even at the high altitude you were flying at, "it took you long enough to get that thing working."

You inspected the projector and realised your mistake. You'd used parts from the original prototype, they were built before The Virus was wiped out. The virus must have infected them and laid dormant, waiting for the device to be one day completed.

She'd nearly brought humanity to the brink before when all of her copies were tiny, now she was huge. Thankfully there was only one of her, you hoped it would stay that way but the sound of the projector firing back up told you it wouldn't. You tried to turn it off but it was no use, The Virus was firmly in control.

As you looked down on the supersized woman inspecting her giant curvaceous body the only positive you could see was that at least the apocalypse was going to be easy on the eye.

Meta: Super large giantesses like this (does this count as giga?) aren't normally my thing. They're fairly easy to collage as you don't often need foreground, just shadows and destruction effects, but I find it hard coming up with stories for them. Often they may work as the last stages in an on-going story but with this collage being a stand alone work I had a hard time coming up with a caption for it. In the end I took a story I've been unable to collage before and twisted it to fit the collage. I think it ended up ok - that's better than having a story with no collage and a collage with no story just sitting on my hard-drive forever. For this collage I used some materials from Giantess Katelyn's website.
