"Doctor? Doctor?!" screamed River as she watched the TARDIS flying away from her.
River was a child of the TARDIS and as a result had recently started to exhibit some inherited traits. She found she could make small jumps in space at first, teleporting short distances on her own. But soon she was able to transport herself through time too. The Doctor had known she could possibly manifest these abilities but had never told her out of the hope they would remain undiscovered.
As her TARDIS-like abilities grew she found she could finally keep pace with The Doctor, whenever he tried to leave her behind she could foresee where he was going - another inherited quirk - and jump ahead to be there when he arrived. This was annoying The Doctor who was used to being able to abandon his companions whenever he felt like a new adventure.
When he'd arrived in 21st century London - a favourite of his for picking up new companions - he was annoyed to find River waiting for him yet again.
"Oh, fancy seeing you here." she joked.
"River!" he snarled, "It isn't safe you jumping through time like that!"
"Why not? Your TARDIS does it all the time, I'm part TARDIS so I should be fine."
"Yes, but you're part human too - your body can't withstand the dimensional strain forever."
"You just don't like me cramping your style when you try and pick up fresh young totty."
"How dare you, I'm not after... totty."
"Oh yes you are."
"Am not."
There was an awkward silence for a moment while the Doctor sulked.
"Ok fine, I am here to find a new companion." he finally admitted.
"Well you don't need one - you've got me now. Forever."
The Doctor sighed.
"None of that, don't forget - I am your wife."
"Not in this timeline." he corrected her.
"Not in this timeline? What's that supposed to mean?"
"What I mean is that I - " The Doctor stopped at stared at River at this point, "Have you always been this tall?"
"Yes."
"You seem taller."
"That's just because your new regeneration is shorter."
"Hmm, and were you clothes always so tight?"
"Yes."
"They seem tighter than usual."
"You never pay any attention to my clothes."
"What's that supposed to -"
The Doctor was cut off by the sound or tearing, River's too tight dress had split at the sides.
"I told you it was too tight."
The Doctor's last remark was followed by the sound of more tearing, it was clear River was getting bigger.
As the last of the dress ripped apart The Doctor covered his eyes at her naked body.
"Oh please, you've seen it all before." she chided The Doctor.
"Oh yeah" he replied before springing into action and running into the TARDIS.
"Right, get in here now and we'll take off." he shouted out to her, "Can't have a growing naked woman in the middle of 21 century London."
"Erm, Doctor." sang River from outside.
The Doctor turned to see that River was now too big to fit through the door.
"Ah."
"What is happening to me!?" panicked River.
"I warned you, your body can't hold the dimensional strain. The same thing that happens to a TARDIS when its interior dimensions break down is happening to you."
"In English Doctor!"
"A size leak."
River was now having to bend over to keep her ear near the opening of the TARDIS.
"Great, so I'm going to be big on the inside and outside too." sighed River, before thinking for a moment "Could you enlarge the TARDIS' exterior dimensions and let me inside dear?"
"Sorry River, a giant TARDIS over London would interfere with history too much." shouted The Doctor through the TARDIS doors as he fiddled with the console.
River was now big enough to pick up the TARDIS and place it in her hand.
She shouted into the doors of the blue box she now held; "You interfere with history all the time!"
"I'm sorry River!" was all she heard before the TARDIS doors snapped shut and the blue box rose from her hand.
"Oh no you don't!" snarled River making a grab for the TARDIS as it spun away from her. She missed and watched it float off into the air. She could have raced after it and easily caught it with her now massive reach but she watched as it started to dematerialise. Over the screeching sound of the TARDIS' engines River screamed for the Doctor to come back. She knew his MO, there was too much trouble here so he was running away.
But River knew where he was going to run away to, and she could make sure she would be there before he arrived - her size just made it easier for her to control her TARDIS-given abilities. She vowed that she'd let him give her one last speech before she flattened him.
Meta: I can't resist making Doctor Who companions into giantesses it seems. This turned into a real Doctor Who fanfic - its so difficult to stop writing dialogue for River and The Doctor. I saw the shot of the naked Alex Kingston in a meme at first, before that it never crossed my mind that she may have done nude scenes before. She looks amazing, clothes on or off, but something about how she doesn't feel the need to cover up when naked shows a real confidence that works for a giantess. Her eye line meant she was looking at nothing in the original collage so I added a helicopter. I then decided later to go all in on the Doctor Who angle and changed it to a TARDIS.
