As the thundering footsteps drew nearer Susan cowered in fear on the balcony praying the giantess hadn't seen her. She hadn't realised how close the giant woman was to her building - so when she peered round the corner Susan hadn't been expecting to be right in her field of view.
She had just wanted a peek to see if the rumours were true - and they were. The giantess was her ex, Coral. Susan had known Coral was desperate for money after their break-up and had signed up for all sorts of crazy medical trials. What she hadn't known until now was that one of them had turned her into the hunger-crazed giantess stalking the town.
In her brief glimpse Susan couldn't help but notice that Coral's chest was now massive, much bigger than it had been when they were dating in comparison to the rest of her. No doubt her victims were fuelling their growth along with the rest of her.
As time went on Susan felt slight relief, the giantess must have missed her - but she wasn't out of the woods yet. Most people had been smart and kept hidden when the giantess had appeared so the town was eerily silent. Susan was paralysed by the fear that any movement would alert her giant former lover to her presence.
Then she heard something that made her even more fearful - her ex's thundering voice.
"God, where's all my food?" the giantess complained, "Where even am I for that matter? All these tiny streets look the same from up here!"
Susan felt the ground shake a few more time - each quake getting stronger as the giantess moved closer to her building.
"Hey - I know where I am!" the giantess declared, her voice now louder than before.
The giant woman giggled, a sound which sent a shiver down Susan's spine.
"This is Susan's street!" she excitedly declared, before adding "She was a real snack."
Susan was terrified of the next sound she heard, she was certain it was Coral licking her lips.
The giantess pondered to herself out loud, "Now... which building did she live in?"
Susan hugged her legs tighter hoping the giant Coral had genuinely forgotten and wasn't just playing with her.
Meta: I originally set up the background/foreground for collaging another model but it didn't quite work out. Luckily I had this cut out of Coral to hand - I'd really been wanting to use it but had had a hard time finding the right place to use her. I think she ended up fitting well into this. I added the cowering woman long after I thought I was done with this collage, I feel it made it easier to add a story to with that element there. I deliberately kept the cowering woman's colours bright so that she's easy to spot.
