The country's propaganda machine was running out of steam. They'd controlled the population for decades by controlling the airwaves. But now the people were turning to other media sources such as the internet. They tried to control them too but it was no good. With the use of VPNs and other technologies it was impossible to control what people saw any more.
They needed a distraction to pull people's attention back - that's where Yoko came in. They realised a lot of people turned to alternative media to look at beautiful women - so what if they had the most beautiful woman as their spokesman? It worked initially, viewership went up but soon tailed off again. They had to do something drastic, something... big.
It was Yoko herself who suggested the enlargement process and the government lapped it up. It was win-win, she would either draw the viewers in or they could use her size as a means of enforcement. With the latter in mind they made her as big as they could and ordered the most flattering clothing for her to be made.
Today was her unveiling, she stood tall in all her spender in front of the country's television headquarters, it's satellites all poised to beam out her first message as a giantess. Inside they could already see a record number of citizens tuning in. She was joined by the country's leadership, the plan was for her to pick them up and present them to the camera as the caring group of individuals that they weren't.
"Hello citizen's" she began, "Thank you for joining us. I am here to tell you today not to worry about your country or the actions of its leaders... because I am taking control."
She suddenly bought a massive foot down on the leadership wiping them all out instantly. They had made her large, and as a result had ended up putting her in charge.
Meta: I really wanted to use this shot of Yoko but it was cropped on all sides. I was going to resort to using a window but I really wanted to make her seem big so I did a search of buildings with holes in them. It turns out there's a few which make for some interesting possible giantess interactions. This one turned out perfect for fitting in Yoko and hiding where she was cropped.
