It was only after being rejected from joining the super hero academy that Jade discovered her full potential. She'd nearly been laughed out when she revealed that her power was 'cartoon physics'.
She completely disagreed with the decision. She was practically invulnerable thanks to her cartoonish abilities - able to reform back to her original shape without any damage after being shot, blown up or squashed. She had incredible strength and could stretch too but the academy just didn't care. They told Jade that her abilities weren't 'mainstream' enough and that her bending and bouncing around would bring embarrassment on the elite super hero squads that they helped form. They branded her powers as being D-tier at best and sent her away.
As she walked away dejected she raised a hand to her face in an attempt to stop herself from sobbing. She let out a huge sigh... then realised something; her clothes felt a bit tighter. She felt taller and stronger - had she just inflated herself? In trepidation she lifted her thumb to her mouth and blew into it, and like before she felt the world get a bit smaller around her. And like before she felt an increase in her strength and mass - this didn't seem like such a D-tier power now.
After several minutes of blowing into her thumb she was now massive, bigger than most buildings in the city. Her clothes grew with her but didn't accommodate for the fact that certain parts of her were swelling up more than the rest so popped open. Maybe that was her subconscious influencing things or maybe just how her power worked - she didn't care, she just wanted to show off her power.
She heaved her immense mass back towards the academy.
"Guess whose back!" she declared loudly.
She saw the many wannabe heroes inside running to the windows of the academy's tower to stare at her majesty. After a few minutes she spotted a figure she recognised stepping out onto a balcony of the buildings - the retired hero who ran the whole operation.
"Hello!" he shouted up to her, "If I understand correctly you're the woman we just rejected right?"
"That's right." she replied, looking down on him.
"Well - I'd like to apologise, we hadn't realised the extent of your abilities and we'd like to offer you a place now."
She scoffed, minutes ago this was everything she would have wanted - but things had changed.
"You know, I hadn't realised the extent of my powers either." she answered back, "Thanks for the offer but I've decided to go in a different direction".
"Different direction?" asked the former hero with an eyebrow raised.
"I think you heroes have shown your true colors, you're just about looks and branding."
"And let me guess, you think the world would be better off without us?" interjected the man on the balcony.
Jade just smiled in response.
"Ah, thought so." said the hero to himself, before speaking into his earpiece, "We have a villain origin happening outside, please send your best students."
Suddenly Jade was bombarded with lasers, projectiles and all other sorts of flashing lights emerging from the building. But her cartoon physics meant that the most they managed to do was make her titanic body wobble hypnotically. She felt amusement watching the fledging heroes who relied on strength throw themselves at her only to be bounced back with ten times the force. After a few minutes they got the message that they couldn't harm her, she had just stood there and taken it with a bored look on her face.
"Is that it?" she asked unimpressed, "I'm glad I decided against coming here, you obviously have failed to help these students reach their full potential."
"I'll tell you what." the new giantess rumbled ominously, "I'll teach all your students a lesson they'll never forget."
With that she started to blow into her thumb again and started to swell even larger.
Meta: Another awesome picture of Juicy Jade - it just looks like she's bursting out of those clothes. I wish I'd come up with a sexier story to match this image but it looks so much like she's inflating herself that I couldn't help it. I also kinda wish I'd gone for another angle like genetic quirk or wish-gone-wrong than the superpower trope - but I do like putting the boot in to the superhero genre so I couldn't resist.
