Part 2 of The Forest Giantess Saga.
March 19th:
Apologies again for the long break in my entries. The last few months have been hectic. Keeping up with the forest giantess have been difficult, especially during the winter months. She can cover great distances in such a short time and it is difficult for me to keep up. She has offered to carry me around, a very tempting offer, but I have yet to pluck up the courage to say yes.
It appears that with a constant food supply the giantess' cognitive faculties have improved. We are able to have much more in-depth conversations than when we first met. I must say she is a wonderful woman with a very caring, but playful, personality. I am trying to keep our relationship professional but it is difficult - especially when you throw her impressive physique into the pot.
I have noticed something about the giantess though. Her rate of growth appears to be increasing. I believe that since she is now so well fed her body has more resources to grow with. I've already had to request a grant from the Global Research Organisation to cover her food for the last month as our original supplies ran out much sooner than expected. I believe I may need to apply for another grant sooner rather than later, though that is partly my fault for spending some of the previous grant on clothing for the giantess. She wanted to dress more civilised and I felt that I couldn't say no.
April 12th:
Shortly after my last entry my prediction came true and I had to apply for another grant. My boss, the project lead, has started asking questions about my spending and wants to come review my work. Me and her have never gotten on and I have a bad feeling about her coming to check up on me. I will need to prepare as she has informed me she will be here soon.
April 19th:
I have met with the project leader and she is staying at my camp. She has made it clear she does not believe my reports and accuses me of doctoring my evidence. I have agreed to arrange a meeting between her and the forest giantess to prove my work to her.
April 21st:
The events of today will live in my memory forever. I commit them to paper to exercise them from my head in the hope that no other soul will ever read them. I started the day by taking my project lead to the lake found beyond the cliffs and their pass - I hoped the majestic view would thaw her frosty demeanour but it did not. Not even the sight of the beautiful forest giantess coming into view wearing the red dress I had gotten her (which was now becoming quite tight on her expanding frame) could impress my boss.
On seeing the giantess arrive, my project lead turned to me and asked me to leave so that they could have a private conversation. At first I objected but she reminded me of the fact that she was in charge so I relented and withdrew to a decent distance. As the two spoke in hushed tones I heard the occasional word on the wind. I heard things like 'indecent advances' and 'misconduct' from the mouth of my project lead. I could see the giantess furrowing her brow and shaking her head at some of the things said to her.
When their conversation ended the project lead turned to me and shouted over from the outcrop she stood on - she let me know she'd heard enough. She had come to the conclusion that I was obviously enamoured by this giantess and was wasting the organisation's money chasing my own infatuation. I of course denied it, though I knew in my heart it was true. When she told she had decided to cut my funding something inside me snapped.
I raised my voice and shouted, not to my boss, but to the giantess behind her. I told her that the small woman in front of her was going to take her food away unless something happened to her. Both parties in front of me immediately knew what I was encouraging. My boss looked at me with a look of disappointment and betrayal, whilst the giantess beamed me a huge smile.
Before I knew what I'd set into motion I watched the giantess scoop up my boss and swallow her in one. She then beamed me her smile again. I'd just watched a woman eaten whole because of my actions, I felt such shame and shock. But it couldn't have prepared me for the the horror which followed. The giantess cooed in pleasure and I could see her growth accelerate before my eyes. After her moment of pleasure passed and her growth stopped she confessed to me that she'd never eaten a person before - but she had enjoyed it. I have never felt so cold in all my life.
April 27th:
I am still coming to terms with what I did and witnessed last week. I have forged the project lead's hand and sent letters back to the organisation claiming that she is staying with me to help in my research and granting me all of her department's funding. I feel disgusted with myself for doing this but I feel that I must do all I can to keep the giantesses well fed.
Speaking of the giantess, she seems un-phased by her act of eating my boss. All she does is ask when her food will be arriving. Her burst of growth last week has made her stomach much harder to fill.
I am reminded of what the villagers told us of the forest giantess; that she would one day end mankind in her maw. I had just dismissed it as folklore before, but now I worry that there might be something to it.
Meta: This wasn't going to be part of the story at first but a stand alone collage. The scenery is pretty different from the other collages in the series which made me discount it originally, but I really wanted to add more chapters to the tale so I worked it in eventually. It was hard working out where Kayla's shadow should be on the outcrop. In my mind I think that maybe it shouldn't be there at all, but without it things looked wrong. It looked wrong with too much shadow too so I've ended up with a middle-ground which doesn't make sense to me, but it looks right.
