Who are you meant to be?

- Lola Rabbit.

Wasn't the theme of this party supposed to be dressing as what you wanted to be?

- Yeah.

And you want to be Lola Rabbit?

- Why not? She's smoking hot and she's got the moves. I wanted to make sure I looked great in any photos I'm in this evening.

Weird - that's a weird choice.

- You're one to talk, you're dressed like a mad scientist. Did you forget the theme and think it was Halloween?

Its not a mad scientist costume - its... forget it, you wouldn't get it.

- Try me.

Naaah...

- Go on, you've made fun of my costume, I can't really make fun of yours if I don't know what its supposed to be.

Well, you know the rumours about the... giantess maker.

- Yeah?! I mean... I think I've heard of him.

Well, this is what he supposedly looks like.

- So, you reckon a lab-coat and some cheap photon pack knock-off makes you into the giantess maker?

Hey, this is an exact replica of the growth beam the giantess maker uses I'll have you know.

- Huh.... you know what... its funny.

Whats funny?

- Let me tell you a secret, what I really wanted to come to this party as...

Yeah?

- Well... a giantess.

Oh really? You'd make an awesome giantess, why didn't you?

- Well, how could I dress like a giantess?

Erm... ripped clothing maybe?

- Everyone knows that clothes grow with you when you're hit by a growth beam.

Huh... hey, wanna do a photo together?

- I guess... I've got a basketball somewhere, we can make it look like I'm about to dunk on you.

Actually, could we do one based around my costume?

- Go on...

How about I pretend I'm shooting you with my growth beam?

- Alright then, stand over there - I'll just pass my phone to someone to take the pic.

Ok, let me just switch this on.

- Oh, it lights up? That's fancy.

Yeah, it was a lot of work to build it - but worth it. Check out what happens when I pull the trigger.

- Wow - that's loud... should it be glowing like that?

Don't worry... its just charging up.

- Charging up? For what? Are you sure its safe to be pointing it at me?

Here we go - and BAM!

- Oh... What did you do to me? I feel so tingly.

Just a concentrated blast, it'll take a few minutes to kick in.

- For what to kick in?

Your growth - I put a delay in so I can get clear.

- I'm going to grow? Oh my god!! This is what I've always wanted, how can I ever thank you?

Tell you what, when you finish growing I'll be watching from the tower block over on the East side - just strike a pose and I'll get a photo.

Meta: I was already considering making a giantess collage from the source photo of the wonderful Kate Fisher on twitter as soon as she posted it. My main apprehension was that I was sure someone would beat me to the punch given how much traction it rightly got. However, my mind was made up when Kate messaged me and asked if I'd like to give it a go.

I used my own shot as the setting for this collage from my recent trip to the Sky Garden in London. I tried something I've not done before here which was trying to overlay window reflections in front of the giantess. It worked quite well as the light reflected in the window had a simple pattern to it. For Kate's reflection I simply copied her, then made her copy much darker, blurrier and transparent when I repositioned her over the building's glass. I made her copy get more transparent towards the top to cover up the fact that its actually a copy of her front and not her back like it should be. I had to do a bit of clone stamping around her leg's reflection to ensure it looked like she was standing between the reflective surface and the other building reflected in it.

There's a bit of a meta-joke in the story about how its categorically not a Halloween party - yet this photo from Kate is from a Halloween part.
