You had some good news to share with the world.
You girlfriend was now pregnant. Despite the two of you being made gigantic, and still growing, you'd still been able to let your love flourish.
You wanted to tell your little 'friend' the lighthouse keeper, but on returning to the tiny cliff-side building found it abandoned. Thankfully people in the nearby village were quick to explain to a pair of giants where the old keeper had gone. He'd apparently moved back to the city, claiming he was too stressed out by the sea.
You knew the cause of the stress was no doubt you and your lovemaking - and you suspected he'd moved to the city thinking you'd not go there after him. But he was wrong. It didn't take much persuading for the tiny inhabitants of the village to give up his forwarding address. Now that you knew where he was, it was time to pay him the visit to share the news.
The city was only a short stroll away for the two of you. You'd grown a lot since your last visit though and were surprised at how tiny all the buildings were to you now. You quickly found his apartment building, but then realised it'd be impossible to find his apartment inside - it was just too small.
Your girlfriend told you not to worry though, she had a plan. You watched as she slowly bent over, cradling her bump as she went, and plucked the building from the ground. You could hear the tiny screams within as she lifted it to her face.
"Hey you!" she cooed at the apartment complex in her hand, "I know you're in there somewhere. We just wanted to let you know the good news."
She rubbed her huge belly as if it could be missed.
"I'm pregnant!" she cooed while intensely staring at the building.
You noticed your girlfriend was transfixed by the tiny structure she held.
"What is it honey?" you asked as she continued staring at it.
"I think... I think I'm having a craving." she told you while keeping her eyes on the building, "I know it'd probably be bad for me but I just want to eat this whole thing."
"Honey..." you said reassuringly, bringing her attention away from what she held in her hand for a moment, "Don't worry about it, a growing body needs fuel..."
Meta: zeldafanlover20 on twitter once again supplied me a fantastic picture that I just had to collage. It fits perfect with where I was wanting the story to go. Originally she was wearing a blue dress but I adjusted the blue hue to orange to better match the source pic. I could have kept it blue and reduced the saturation in both pics so it didn't stand out so much, but this let me keep a higher contrast.
Why am I doing so many collages featuring pregnant women? Maybe its my subtle way of sharing some good news.
