Surely this was a scam?
The app was certainly some sort of malware. How else could it have got on her phone without her being aware of it.
"Download more size." was all it's description said. How would that even work?
She should have uninstalled it there and then... but she was curious.
With trepidation she pressed the icon. Once it loaded up there was nothing but a large button on the screen labelled, "GROW".
Without hesitation she pressed it and felt a rush like no other. She was aware of the world shrinking around her, the sensation was euphoric as her expanding body passed through the masonry and steel of her building as if it was nothing.
When the sensation stopped she found herself looking down on her town - it was so small in comparison to her! She felt compelled to explore what she could do at this size. She lost herself in the excitement of stomping on places she hated, tormenting the tiny people below and demonstrating her dominance.
It had nearly been an hour of fun when a notification on her phone caught her attention.
"Your trial of being a giant has 5 minutes left."
Trial? Damn, so it was a scam.
She felt the bottom drop out of her world, she was going to shrink down and have to face the consequences of all the destruction she'd wrought since growing. She was planning on using her last 5 minutes to try and wipe out any witnesses before noticing a tiny message at the bottom of the screen.
"Watch 5 adverts to prolong your trial another 24 hours."
She shrugged, it seems like a fair price to pay for the power it granted.
The giantess sat down and settled in to watch the adverts on her phone when she saw each one was several minutes long. Each advert seemed to be specifically targetted for users of the app - advertising places where giants could buy food and clothing.
It was part way through the last of the adverts a banner popped up adverting a 'pro-mode', she clicked it out of interest. Her eyes lit up seeing the features offered by this new mode: no adverts, variable size control and an vastly increased max sized.
Of course the pro-mode came with an eye-wateringly large monthly subscription fee but she didn't care - she was already putting in her card number.
Meta: This is another fantastic shot of zeldalover2009. I was tempted to take the phone out of her hand and have her holding a building. The original shot of the scene (one I took in Malta) has a huge church in it (which she is sat on in this collage) which would have fit perfectly. However, I had the vague idea for a story involving a giantess on the phone which this ended up fitting perfectly.
