It looked like this game of cat and mouse was coming to a close.
You'd managed to avoid your gigantic ex as she prowled the city looking for you so far. You just needed to make it to the train station, but every time you got close she would come into view.
It was clear she was camping your only means of escape. You figured you were trapped here but then a thought crossed your mind - could she really tell you apart from all the other tiny people?
You watched her from afar picking up tiny cars and inspecting the occupants. She would squint and stare for some time before deciding it wasn't you and tossing the tiny vehicle away over her shoulder. You realised that if you stuck in a crowd she'd never be able to spot you. So you waited for rush hour and joined a large contingent of office workers heading towards the station.
You were nearly there and were approaching your ex, thankfully her attention was focussed on another street as you shuffled closer with the others. You took the opportunity to stare at how fabulously large she'd gotten and sighed - if only you were still together... or had at least ended things on decent terms.
As your attention turned back to where you were going you realised you were on your own. You turned to see all the office workers you were trying to blend in with heading down another street.
"Hey, where are you all going?" you shouted in as a hushed as possible manner.
One of the workers stopped and turned back to you to reply in an equally hushed tone, "We're not going near that giant woman at the station - we're all going to car pool home instead."
You realised now they were heading towards the car parks down town.
"Can anyone give me a lift?" you called back as quietly as possible after them, but the man who had spoken to you just stared up in horror, turned and hurried off to catch up with his colleagues.
You turned round, already knowing what had caught his attention - your ex was staring right at you.
You felt intense fear as a cruel smile crossed her face and she vaulted over the buildings between you and her to come thudding down on the street before you.
"There you are..." she cooed, now menacingly crawling down the street towards you.
You thought about running but knew you could never outrun the gigantic hand that was sliding its way along the ground towards you.
"Gotcha!" she declared with triumph as her huge fingers wrapped around you.
For you, the game was over.
Meta: I really wanted to explore the idea of a giantess interacting with a city in this one. Rather than her stomping on or through buildings, what if she sits on them, leans on them or jumps over them? At a certain size a city remains an environment to you rather than a carpet at your feet - but you can now navigate and interact with it in a different way from all the tiny people at your feet. Of course if you want to interact with the tiny people then you've got to get down low.
I think I subconsciously channelled the Giantess Puma advert in this - specially the part at the end where the giantess gets down to get a good look at Buffon before picking him up.
