Meta: Getting the coloring of Katelyn to match the scene was hard, her shots were very warm and the scene was very cold. I'd have needed to almost completely desaturate both to make them match but I actually wanted Katelyn to really stand out from the scene so I kept a bit of a difference in the hues. I then blurred the background a bit to make sure Katelyn really stood out.
