Why are the images not the proper resolution. I have to use CTRL Scroll to shrink the images down to fit on my screen, and even then this one was too big for my laptop. Using CTRL also changes the ratios of the images on the entire website, even if this image is in a separate tab, so that's a hassle to change after every single picture. The old sizebooru had the images properly sized... why can't this one do it right?

Oh, and while I'm at it, I might as well add that this site needs some moderators, or at least some sort of image janitor. Many of the pics in the gallery are uploaded again and again and again, simply because multiple users upload them and don't know that they're already here. This is kinda a big problem...

First: Giantessbooru has over 30 moderators and I'll be looking for even more in the near future. ;) The moderators here regularly browse and moderate content live on the site as well as make sure all images uploaded to the site are properly tagged and flagged before passing moderation. The moderators have gone through over 30,000 images so far (Hundreds a day! Most are low quality or huge poorly done poser sets which get deleted) and the best 8,000 of these images have been approved.

Second: Duplicate images are rather rare. Giantessbooru has built in protection against duplicates, making it impossible for users to upload images that already exist in the database. However, if an image is resized, cropped, or made to "look" like a new image it can be uploaded again. Moderators do keep a look out for these rare instances, and when a duplicate image is found the duplicate is deleted. Also, you are more than welcome to moderate the images yourself and help make Giantessbooru even better. All users have the ability to flag an image for moderation and can write in "Duplicate Image" along with the original image's ID, that way moderators can delete the duplicate.

Third: Several users have suggested that Giantessbooru should display a smaller version of an image that would fit on most screens if the image is huge. To see the full version, you'd click on the image. I am unable to implement this right now, however if I keep getting suggestions for this I might implement this in the near future. However I am slightly hesitant as this change would require an extra click for those who enjoy seeing the full size image right away. :)

Tanktics>> Yes I have been using the [right click] > [view image] tactic for the time being.

Katelyn>> Thank you for responding to my complaints. It is encouraging that you have an active role in the site's maintenance, as well as some concern for us users' comments and suggestions. I have noticed that most of the time the duplicates and poor quality images are taken care of quickly, but a few weeks ago there was a large influx of duplicate images, and it appeared to me, if only for a few days, that the site was not well kept. I know better now. Keep up the good work, mods.
