I just tried uploading a shot, and it looks like it was already submitted, only it's not showing up so must have been declined - bit silly really. Lauren is much nicer IMHO - clearly the mods didn't/don't think so....

I just don't understand why this gets 'allowed', yet a picture of the same quality, but different (better) model does not. One of the many 'odd' ways this place is run sometimes. The fact a moderator has allowed 6/7 really poor collages to go through is another mystery (maybe it's another bot..)

If I'd have seen any and if they were of good enough quality I would have approved them as I'm a big fan of POV shots. Can you upload the images again and I'll keep an eye out for them.

I got that 'duplicated' image message - but when you click the link (which should take you to said image) nothing shows up, which I suspect means it has been rejected at some point - I just don't understand why as the quality is the same as these (same source). Even if I did upload again, it wouldn't get passed that point, as such I dare say there would be nothing to moderate as the site is already blocking the image before any moderation can take place.

CrushedByKatelyn 12/6/2011 1:01:16 PM Rating: 0 Further to the above, I do find it a little frustraiting one cannot dispute rejected posts. That is to say if one feels an image is suitable he/she should be able to at least find out why and image is rejected. I have uploaded a couple of my own collages in the past, but they were rejected. Now, it would be nice to know why they were refused - but the way this place is set up, you cannot do that. I don't know how many Mods are there, bot or otherwise, but I do feel there are times where some will refuse images others will not. Take yourself, you like POV shots, at some point someone uploaded a POV shot identical to this in terms of quality, but it has been rejected by one of the mods. If it would have been you who noticed the image - by the sounds of it it would be 'made it'. Just seems to me like the 'moderation' side of things needs a bit of a rethink.

The-New-Dalek-Paradigm 12/6/2011 1:26:40 PM Rating: 0 I've just uploaded a Lauren POV shot. Can you confirm if this is from the images you were trying to upload? With regards to the moderating side of things. Katelyn has set in place strict rules as to what type of images are ok to be uploaded to the site. The main objective being that this should be a site for quality rather than quantity. All of the images that are rejected by the moderators for any reason are seen by Katelyn, who will either delete them if she agrees with the original reason for deletion, or place them back into the moderation queue saying they're ok to be uploaded. Sometimes a moderator may ok an image that is later deleted as not being good enough for the site. I agree that some form of feedback for up-loaders as to why their images may have been rejected would be advantageous. This might be something to bring up with Katelyn to improve the site.

Yeah, I don't / didn't want to sound to harsh regarding the moderation here, as this is one of my favourite GTS sites. I just think sometimes, a feedback form would be a nice touch, especially with those making their own images.
