Have all of your other uploads, been images that other moderators denied to post on the main image page? I'm really glad that users will have the ability to personally message each other. :) One idea I'd like you to pass on to Semeraz, is a reply system. I'd like to be able to go to my account page, and view user replies to a conversation that I've commented on. I'd like for it to have the same layout as this comment forum. i.e. I can see the picture that I've commented on, even click on it, to view the image's individual webpage, see the entire discussion, and after so many conversations, another comment page would be created, just like on the main forum here. It would be sooooooo convenient! Though, I would just like to ask that if such an update did occur, I would like this main comment section to remain the same. This comment section has lead me to interesting/funny conversations, and images that I would have unknowingly passed over.

What are the differences in between the two jobs? Like, I view moderators as being gatekeepers of images; only some shall pass! Administrators recheck nayed images, to see if a moderator’s choice was correct, and they also supervise moderator actions, correct? Yeah, they’ve added an 18+ disclaimer and have improved the password screen. The technical advisor must have razed the galleries with no viewable images, when I last visited a few months ago, there were like ten of them. lol Remember for Giantessbooru 2.0, there was a planned instant messaging service? For example, I like GTSWriter's stories, but they belong in a specific "stories" section of the site. I know there will be such an area in version 2.0. ...will user's also be able to copy images from within the booru and insert them into a story itself. In other words, would GTSWriter have the option to illustrate his tales? I can understand having the option for everybody to PM each other for fun, but what I'm asking, is why should there be a private moderator FORUM. Such a thing would only exist, for moderators to talk about site problems that may affect users (something that we would like to KNOW about), or for moderators to complain about a user or users.

For me, it's interesting to learn that 95% of what Giantess7of9 uploads is deleted. I mean, I'm the kind of guy who will watch the special features of a movie, to get an idea of how it was put together. Plus, wouldn't a private moderator forum form an invisible wall between the moderators/administrator and the booru's users?

This is the first time that that has happened to me. I'm guessing somebody tried to upload these pages a long time ago and a moderator banned them... The site didn't tell me the reason why they were rejected. The site codes for the pages are... I've watched almost every episode of Mythbusters and I've never seen a normal bullet go through 5 inches of solid steel. I mean, their show isn't specifically based on showing off military ability, but they have been known to gratuitously shoot guns. I think that a .50 BMG caliber round would only be able to pierce 1"-1.25" of solid steel.

If I upload an image and it's already been posted, the booru literally directs me to the previously stated posted pages. However, I believe that I should only create galleries for large works. I don't want to spam the art gallery. I will create a gallery for a previously posted series and another one will be created for the stuff that I've uploaded this week and last week.

Are there really 2,000 images in the queue? That kind of sounds like an exaggeration by somebody that has been over-worked (Though I don't doubt that there are many images waiting to be uploaded, from the queue.). Lately, I have been spacing out my uploads so, it will be a while before I upload anything to this site.

badreality 11/10/2012 10:27:46 PM Rating: 0 MarkM, Gauging how well a piece of work is liked by seeing how many favorites it’s getting is a good way to tell how popular it is. However, the popularity of comics on this site HAVE to be gauged differently than single poser shots. I’d say that the average comic page on this site gets 8 average favorites per page, while a single standalone image will get an average of 15 favorites per page. Right now, what I’ve uploaded is averaging 5 favorites per page, but I’m not spelunking. Yeah, I did see one complaint… I think you’re referencing the comment on this page, right? http://www.giantessbooru.com/post/view/141887 In the past, I’ve seen similar complaints on Mamabliss’ main site. Her wild art style is a niche in itself. People either love it or hate it. Her sites do have long-time fans due to her art-style, but her popularity is diminishing, however that’s another issue (A paid submitted commission may take 1.5 years for her to complete…). Perhaps it is better to ease one or two comics at a time, as the list fills up. If I did upload fifty pages at once, I would be burying good collages/paintings/drawings that may have just been posted earlier that day. Plus, people are more likely to read and enjoy 20 pages of comics at a time, than say 60. Hopefully nobody will beat me to the punch… but I’ll just have to look at the silver lining if it does happen; somebody else loves MB’s works as much as I do. Plus, that’ll be another MB work that people will be able to view on this site. I just hope that they won’t upload a single image out of a ten-page comic… Dude, it’s totally cool that you’re trying to accommodate everybody (myself included). In fact, I don’t think I’d be able to have such a conversation with a moderator that didn’t care. I mean, you try to check the queue, recent posts, and comments almost every single day; you’ve approved 3,015 uploads (as of now) and have commented 1,636 times (as of now). You absolutely care about this site and that is definitely acceptable. Everything that I’ve posted can be found on pages 3-5 of Giantessbooru’s main list now, so I reckon it’s about time to post ONE comic. lol Since you want the best ones first, I’ve picked a favorite of mine to be posted next.
