Oops, I could have sworn I'd included that tag... It's not the same Macross, I've never seen 'Frontier,' but I always loved the 1984 'Clash of the Bionoids' movie as a kid. And I daydreamed about being captured by the female aliens. :P

Yeah, definitely Uru's character and usual sort of content. The style is really similar, too, just looks like it was done with MS Paint rather than... paint... I think Envi is on to something with the 'early work' idea.

The last I'd heard of it, Envi messaged notETZ on deviantart seeking to confirm whether it was he or an imposter who flagged all of the not/ETZ pictures, but didn't get a reply. I do believe the notETZ with whom I spoke, regarding some copyrighted content that had been uploaded, was the real deal. He used a rare slur which is featured in at least one of ETZ's pictures. I just sent notETZ's deviant account another PM to confirm whether or not we have permission for this, in case another mod or admin has not already been successful. What should we do if he continues to ignore? I don't check regularly, but you other mods/admins should continue this discussion. And someone besides me should set up a forum so that the mods can discuss things like this more conveniently and work more effectively as a team. :)

It certainly looks like the same artist and pretty much the same character except for the bows. Please keep track of the page I posted here, because if I'm correct then this is copyrighted and paid material that we will need to remove. :(

Oh man, why can't all the Chinese texts be like this? Big, clear, simplified characters... But I figure it's because of the size comparison with the chess pieces. They do, after all, represent people. It's a bit abstract, but actually, seeing ladies play chess has always tripped my macro trigger. Anyone remember that scene in Austin Powers with the Russian chick?
