Yes, the Kickstarter failed, but they just moved to a smaller venue. An art gallery style space instead of a hotel conference room. I think it's nicer (there are photos on the eventbrite page linked above).

Ha, I'm familiar, and I agree. When it comes to design, I like my characters to look like they have other priorities besides dressing up. Like murdering tinies.
