I actually remember seeing her in another chapter. She was helping with the other heroes cleaning up the building derbies. But she was in the background and it was one panel in the page so it was easy to miss her.

I got to know a few fellow artist and fans, so far they are pretty cool. Though some can be overboard. lol We talk gts stuff but also WWE, anime and gaming etc. So I guess it just comes down to who you meet and talk too. I'm sorry that you had a not so stellar experience, but I hope you at least gained something positive afterwards. I know I did when I left GTSCity ay back.
