This one also reminds me of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The guy in the middle panel on the right hand side looks somehow like Ikari Gendo with his typical pose during an angel attack.

Somehow these aircraft remind me of the VTOL aircraft from Neon Genesis Evangelion, which were used by the UNO and NERV for fighting the angels. Besides they had also no chance and were wiped out easily every time.

Just added the name to this series. The rest of the manga was already tagged with its name ("Marie the Cyclone").
Unfortunately I don't know the artist's name, but the manga was published in 09/2002 issue of Magazine Z (月刊マガジンZ), which was a seinen manga magazine until 2009.
If anyone knows the artist's please add it, too.

Yes, I would LOVE to do an FX movie at this height! I did have a micro movie planned that was close to this in size, but I had to put it on hold for the time being and start simpler. Instead of tackling the big micro project first, I decided I needed a shorter, simpler film to practice with and to test out some of my new equipment. (And just to get my feet wet again!) So my upcoming film is actually a shrunken people barefoot crush film- but with a fun twist! (In other words, familiar territory but with new elements to work with)

However, now that I feel comfortable doing FX work again, I think it's inevitable that I'll be tackling a micro city FX movie after this shrunken crush film is released- even if it is a scaled down version (or a completely different version) of the movie I discussed here a few weeks ago! :D So continue looking forward to seeing me at this size! >=D

More resilient, and Kyrii is barefoot, plus the ground is probably soft enough to give as it's in the woods. I'm with you on the mulched bit, though I always found if more attractive if it takes her a few firm steps to get them there. Like it was a decision she made to want to want to smush them into nothing beneath her.
I'd like to believe that is exactly what Kyrii was doing in the last panel with her words, "Squish, Squish! So long my little canary!" With a close-up on Kyrii's expression rather than seeing her squashing the canary until she's unrecognizable. :p

I like the concept. Though if she'd met a bloodier end I'd probably like it more. When it comes to crush content my personal preference is for a body to be pretty much mulched, but I suppose at that size, the body would be more resilient.
