I don't think I sound hipster at all, really. Japan is making the game, their most likely going to market to themselves first before the rest of the world. No one knew who Marth or Roy were in Smash Brothers, but people didn't complain that much. Corrin is a marketing ploy as is Bayonetta. Not saying there isn't a ride range of good Fire Emblem cast members to choose from, but why do they have to be from games that the whole world got and not a Japan exclusive? Also I own Fire Emblem IF for my 3DS as I am fluent in Japanese. Corrin has a better story then the lords of "The Sacred Stones".

@iswear12 Yes, let's complain at Fire Emblem for having 6 characters. Pokemon has 6 representatives. Mario has 8, even more if you count DK. Also Fire Emblem is extremely popular in Japan right now, get over it. As for Corrin, you haven't even played the game yet so judge you cannot. Unless you have played "Fire Emblem IF" in Japanese all I gotta say to you is "TROLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!"

I was displeased when they announced her, I'm quite pleased Nintendo is adding Corrin, one of the best Fire Emblem characters. I don't understand the hate towards Fire Emblem character's. Mario all way's has the most playable cast in SSB, Fire Emblem is popular get over it.
