Wow this is a 4 year old comment thread. But I went ahead and checked and the tag filters appear to be working for me. Here's how to use them as maybe you're typing them in incorrectly? https://i.imgur.com/wQsIA4u.png - The front page when I took this screenshot featured 3 images of characters with green skin so I figured I would use that as an example. https://i.imgur.com/gYX4ZN7.png - I went to the Tag Filters tab once logged in and entered green_skin as the tag I no longer wanted to see https://i.imgur.com/cleOZPR.png - and sure enough it removed them from view. The only place they still show is if you look at comments and someone leaves a comment on a pic with a tag you have filtered. The tag has to be the exact one used, and if things still get through then there was either a mistake made along the way, or the offending image was mistagged. And if that were the case you can leave a comment with a tag correction.

When images get uploaded they go into a queue on our end that is then presented in a randomized order on every refresh. The reason for this is basically so that if the queue gets backed up then the stuff at the bottom won't just go weeks or months without being approved, but it does have the negative side effect of making it nearly impossible to get sets up in the proper order. But there is a Galleries feature at the top you can make use of to create public galleries and place them in the correct order once they're all up. It's not the best solution but it does work!

You can use filters if there's specific content you don't want to see, which is accessible here https://i.imgur.com/uDtBNIr.png Futanari is not tagged under male because it comes with a feminine physique aside from the penis, so there's typically very little overlap between fans of male and futanari content. A filter will hide the thumbnails in the gallery and make it so they can't be clicked even by accident though! An unfortunate bug with this is that the thumbnails will still be visible if you click the "Comments" tab, though. But viewing it on the main gallery will have the images disabled if they're properly tagged.

Japanese laws against obscenity. I don't remember a lot of the specifics, but iirc it's quite literally against the law for someone living in Japan to make "obscene" images without censoring it to some degree. The small strips are basically some loophole or something to legally count as censored while still showing as much as possible. I almost certainly got some details about it wrong, but that's the gist of it.

That can be done, actually! This site really needs a "news" section or something so there can be a permanent post but until then I'm kinda just stuck periodically reminding everyone that if there's any tag merging, replacing, or mass tag edits that need to be done (such as fixing a typo on a tag that has multiple images) you can leave a comment or send me a PM about it and I'll take care of it. If it's just a single tag on a single image that needs to be added or corrected then any of the other mods can also handle that so a comment would be better. As a side note, the queue has been mostly cleared out now so any images uploaded should be done fairly quickly. Should be. Hopefully.

Sometimes it gets overlooked. Simple as that really since it's all done by hand. If for whatever reason you don't want it deleted after then just comment on the image itself, as Flying_Waffle implied. Tag fix + a comment on the pic itself gets the comment left up since we don't want to take away from any nice comments towards artists and such.

Good point. Checked the "Wasp" tag and it was 100% pictures of the character so I unified both tags under "The wasp" in case someone ever decides to upload a pic with actual wasps in it.

It's a mod only thing and I don't have the ability to make people mods and I kinda don't know who does lmao. MarkM used to help with that but I haven't seen him around for a bit. The best thing you can do to help out is to tag any images you upload yourself. Saves anyone looking at the queue the effort of doing so themselves and usually gets it up faster if the tags are good. MSPaintGTS does a great job of this and I barely even read her tags anymore cause she's usually very thorough when adding them.

If you try and upload an image that's already on the site (or has previously been removed) then it'll be rejected. Unfortunately it only works for exact matches. So if someone were to, say, upload an image not at full resolution then someone else can come by later and upload the same image at full resolution and they'd both be accepted. There's currently about 700 images in queue though so I'd bet anything not up is still in queue.

Thanks for the info. Updated this, along with the other images that were commented as being from him. As a periodic reminder to everyone, if a comment is made that is only a tag correction then the comment is deleted after the correction is made. So don't be alarmed if you let us know of an issue and find the comment later deleted. And if you'd like to contribute in your own way you can always hop on the unknown_artist tag and help us identify people who weren't known at the time the image was approved.

From what I can tell it was initially supposed to be a Patreon exclusive that people weren't supposed to be posting until Karbo himself posted it elsewhere. Karbo has since posted it on his main gallery, making it free to post everywhere else.

Merged dragonball, dragonball_z, dragon_ball_z, dragonball_gt, dragon_ball_gt, dragonball_super and dragon_ball_super all under dragon_ball. There's only 54 images here total under those combined tags so I don't think it really needs to be defined further than that, and searching for a specific character is probably more what people are looking for if they're doing a search like that. Also merged Toradora and Toradora! feel free to send anymore tag merging suggestions.

Yes, the image is a still from an animation which was censored so it could be uploaded to DeviantART. The source links to the same still image but has on it another link to the full, uncensored video.

There were 2 versions of this pic and the Chun-Li one (which I absolutely love, by the way) by yamumil in the queue today. I approved the colored version of the Chun-Li pic, but for this one I went with this version. The other one had nicer colors but it didn't have the question mark or the signs of struggle in it, which adds a lot imo. So if yamumil sees this and would rather have the other version up then just say so and I'll swap them out. And if you (Anyone reading this who isn't yamumil) want to see the other version just check the source. It has 5 different versions and the other one uploaded was #3

He goes by lots of different names. theboogie on DA, history-eraser-button on FA, meaconscienta on tumblr, Nope on Eka's, and notboogie on Patreon. But since he seems to be most well known under theboogie I just went ahead and merged all those tags together under that name.
