The "amanda" tag on this should probably be changed to her username, "amandatheforsaken," as that's used for any other pics involving her.

And then I realise I wrote "aftering" while my brain was trying to process "after moving." That's a sign this all-nighter is not going my way.

You probably haven't had the right one, then. We wine snobs like to go on about our dry, dark reds, but they're a terrible introduction to the wine world (especially if consumed independent of any dish). I'm learning to love many of the local wines aftering moving to the US East Coast. There are a lot of unique breeds of muscadine grape that make for a very sweet-yet-robust wine, perfect for blushes or light reds.

Well, placing a RED wine in the fridge is liable to make me cringe and wince for days. Never, ever do that. You'll absolutely ruin the flavour and be left with a bottle of soured grape squeezings. It's fine with a white, though. Although I've always found cooking with wine to be overrated, and really just a way to use cheap wines no one wants to actually drink. Don't mind me. Just being a snob.

The users are, but not so much the administration. I believe the people running this site are aware of the need to police content more thoroughly than people would like, although their situation is a bit different from the one I outlined.

I'm going to be the unpopular one and point out dA has several good reasons for being strict about particularly explicit content, the primary one being that international regulations segregate pornographic and non-pornographic content rather stridently, meaning sites really have to choose which side they're on. dA doesn't want to be a porn site, as many of their users are underage, and since they won't run pornographic advertisements, they need ad deals with other companies... companies who wouldn't do business with them if they had unrestricted pornographic content. Naturally, it's all about the money. dA needs to maintain their servers and pay their employees, and while Core memberships foot some of the bill, I'm sure it's not nearly enough. Advertising revenue is vital to the continued operation of the site, and those deals require dA to play ball and not be a porn site.

Oh thank goodness, that's a WHITE wine she has in the refrigerator. No one panic.

I'd make a snark about Americans and geography, but I'm British so I can't do so in good conscience because we're really no better.

That was the source of my own confusion, yes. ^^; If you're not bothered by DrkPhazon's comment, then there's no point in me pressing the issue.

*sigh* I really should get better at casual chatting instead of staying silent and only speaking up when I have something to pontificate on about. I think it makes me come off as thoroughly unfriendly.

My apologies if asserting my views comes off as "douchey," but I think you're mistaken on what MSPaint and I are objecting to. The problem isn't that he doesn't like cruel content. By all means, people are entitled to their tastes. The problem isn't even that he stated he dislikes it: doing so is rather tactless and tasteless, but ultimately should be overlooked, as people do seem to have a natural urge to express their "opinions" on things regardless of how constructive it may or may not be. No, I believe what has bothered her is the very line I pointed out in my last post. "Who faps to this?" That's something of a marginalisation of anyone who may have enjoyed the work. I don't wish to belabour the point or guilt anyone past expressing why someone might object to the post, but I must also point out he started off by giving an exaggerated expression of indignation at the direction the artist took, making it quite clear he finds the piece distasteful and frustrating. Perhaps she saw that as a personal insult. It's clear the original post was meant as a joke, and perhaps MSPaint shouldn't have been bothered by it... but I feel the need to point out that she has reasons for being bothered. Simply waving it off as "it's my opinion" isn't a magical panacea for reactions to tactlessness.

I think the issue is that if you acknowledge there are people who enjoy it, you're better off not stating lines like "who faps to this"? It comes off as dismissive, insulting, and rude.

Considering the term "shemale" is still frequently used in fetish communities, it's likely not very reasonable to expect any sort of sensitivity toward trans issues from people.
