If the argument you're having is people are not tagging the images with the artist's name, then I'll just say whether it is not all that hard to figure it out isn't the point. Not everyone knows how to track down the image, and especially not everyone has the time to do so. That is what the unknown_artist tag is for, because maybe someone knows right away and can add that information in, or perhaps someone has time to kill to go looking for the artists names for the images. Try not to forget that the only person on this site who is being paid for their work is the programmer, and everyone else simply volunteers their time. So while we all appreciate your contributions to the site by updating the tags with the information you know, it is not a requirement for anybody to be doing this. That is how a community works, a lot of people putting in to make it run, but once it stops being enjoyable by all means take a break. Don't feel like you are being pressured to participate. If that is not your complaint, then I apologize for drawing the wrong conclusion.

This is the last warning for all of this runaway rhetoric in this thread. The issue was dropped, so do not make any further attempts to continue it. What's the point of causing problems? Trolls simply end up removed, so don't be that guy.

It seems he's changing tags to images he's favourited. He'll be warned before we look to have him removed though. For now Mark, don't worry about changing all the tags, the synonym editor should have marked all those images pretty clearly anyway. And likely there is a one hit fix for all the images he's touched in the Admin panel, so for now I'd just let it be. You discovered the trend, so nice job! ^^

This must end, and though I don't agree with your way of thinking Toho, I won't press the issue regarding elitist fan bases. However please refrain from bringing that here to the Booru, as this type of behavior I might expect to see on GiantessCity, it does not need to be displayed here. We get on the members cases for acting disrespectful toward other members, you can bet that will go double for any mods caught doing this exact thing. You're held to a higher standard than that, so I ask that you leave your own prejudices out of commenting here. It is perfectly fine that you feel you shouldn't have or need to translate for anyone, nobody is asking you to. But people coming forward to translate works for the community as a whole has always been encouraged here, and will continue to be. Just be respectful, it's easy.

@GTSLover27, yeah you can edit tags. It's a job well beyond the capability of the moderating team alone, and so is encouraged by the user base to build a strong image tag directory. Just don't go purposely misstagging things. XD

Eh, there isn't much that can be said about having to turn someone's work down. It is always going to rub feelings against the grain. If it is any consolation, my work does not get posted here either, as it is not up to snuff for what this site is looking for. I like the fact this site idealizes a top quality database of images, as being able to come here and find a huge collection of top-notch stuff is pretty awesome. I regret however that it is also like you said, there have been many, many images that have been approved that really should not have been. Part of this is due to the sheer number of moderators on this site, many of which have never even posted a comment before and are strictly behind the scenes, and many of which posted a hand full of images and then that was it. I can fully appreciate your frustration in seeing work posted to the site that you feel is either as good as your own or outright inferior. Seeing the stuff posted grinds my gears as well, because it creates this exact type of double standard. The only other thing I can offer about getting your work out there and seen as you improve piece by piece, is to start a DeviantArt account if you don't have one already. People will come to you and will undoubtedly be encouraging you for better and better works. This is what I have done to display my own work that does not fit here on this site anyway, and I enjoy it quite a bit. As for 2.0, with the latest fallout behind the scenes, I do not know if it is still in the works, but last I heard it is not. At least not now, or for the time being. I doubt the project has been fully scrapped, but until a new programmer/programmers can start it back up again, it is likely not anywhere within our near future. Keep your fingers crossed everything works out, or if you feel you're up the challenge and have the skills in your arsenal to further the 2.0 project, it wouldn't hurt to contact Katelyn and see what she has to say about it. :p
