I read the manga through the war war arc and kind of got "eh" toward the end of that, but it's still a series I like overall. Not trying to dispute anyone, WTK, that legitimately doesn't care for it; it's just that I've seen this in people I know personally. One in particular has really just seemed to hop on the bandwangon of overall Naruto hate, even though he has no actual complaints about it other than going "eh" at about the same point I did.

There's a 9-region system for dividing the abdomen that nobody I know uses outside of the classroom, though I'm sure it's still fairly prevalent in general. What I always see in real life is the 4-region system, which divides the abdomen into right and left upper and lower quadrants. Basically a vertical line down your middle, and a horizontal line across the navel. The stomach is in the left upper quadrant--In normal anatomy, anyway.

So I was working under the assumption that either: A.) That's not human saliva, and is acidic or whatever green indicates these days, or B.) It's a stylistic choice to pop the color. Translucent white-ish would not show up as dramatically in these tones. Of course, do realizing that that's just my take on it. I have no source to check right off.

Someone with a similar face, mental traits, etc., is often seen as trustworthy and a good choice for a mate. This idea is usually applied in the context of related people first meeting as adults, though. That's more why an individual might like the concept in a realistic sense, rather than a fetish-taboo based one. The main reason that incest is seen as taboo, according to what is prolly the big theory tight now, is a psychological phenomenon known as the Westermarck effect. This basically says that people raised with one another will (usually) "reverse sexually imprint" and not be attracted to one another. That said... (and I'm not advocated incest, just thinking out loud....) if you really think about it, the only reason it should be a thing is the greater prevalence of congenital defects in kids born to related parents. But.. once you get to like 2nd cousins or so, it's statistically not likely for anything bad to happen, really, anymore that with two unrelated parents, practically speaking. THAT said, the taboo is about having kids, so if the couple never reproduces..... *shrug* Again, just thinking out loud. I only ever get on here to make puns and lecture.... >.>

In the intros I saw, my favorite character was probably Blake, but I would definitely be a Weiss fan if I saw this with no other context to draw from.

In theory, you could take the compressive load capacity of, say, the leg bones, which with the proportionate increase to ~30 ft in height from the average 5-6 ft, would be able to take the stress of the new weight. That doesn't, however, take into consideration joints and cartilage and what not, which would lower that threshold considerably. I don't know right off the values on those to plug into the formula, to find what that would be, though. So once we already have someone that can literally step on a city, why stop there? A lot of stories have no more justification than "it's magic", or some kind of stone or cosmic energy. Maybe she has some kind of mystic invulnerabilty. Obviously wouldn't apply to your run-of-the-mill growth-formula, but meh. I think it's just part of the whole dominance thing, the idea that not only is the gts big enough to play with buildings and stuff--she's literally unstoppable.
