He's a highly experienced programmer and will be able to take care of needed fixes and run the site well for everyone. Giantess Booru will continue to be free for the community and have similar policies in effect. I will be helping administer the new site when I can and there will be a new call out for volunteers who wish to help with moderation. First of all, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for GTSWriter, who has recently stepped down from his role as a moderator. GTSWriter has been a pillar of our community for many years, and he has contributed immensely to the growth and quality of GiantessBooru. He went above and beyond; tagged over 10K images, uploaded nearly 300 images, has made over 1K comments (adding stories to images, helping members, and adding to the community), and has been a massive help all around. He is a mod legend in my eyes, and I’m sure in yours too. So please join me in giving him a big round of applause and a heartfelt thank you for his service and dedication. You rock, GTSWriter! GTSWriter’s departure also made me realize that we need to revamp our moderation team and make sure we have enough active and enthusiastic mods to keep GB running smoothly and beautifully. That’s why I have been on a mission to recruit new moderators and to reconnect with the inactive ones. I’m happy to announce that we now have two new moderators: LDT and CaliTea! Welcome aboard! I know that our community is not very vocal (I see you, lurkers ^_~), but we do have THOUSANDS of visitors per day who enjoy browsing our awesome collection of images. We'll space out a batch of similar pov pictures from here on out, but may need to make an exception if we're not getting many other uploads. Thanks for your opinion. To address the quality issue, and while we're on the subject of content... A serious lack of uploads from our community has been brought to my attention by GB Admin, MarkM. He reaches out to artists to get permission sharing their work with credit and source. This brings you the high quality collages from our community's artists and it directs new fans their way. It is a lot of work and he has a full time job, family, errands, and the busy life we can relate to. But, he enjoys it, which is what matters. As do our mods. Now, catch this. In one mere day, if each member uploaded --one-- image, it would provide us with a pool of --thousands-- of images that our moderators would be tagging and approving for -months to come-! Just imagine... thousands of new pron images for you to see... mmhh. It'd be so much that we would be looking for a dozen or more mods to help us out! Everyone has the power to contribute to the content we support. We regularly approve the highest quality images first. Thus, low-medium quality images are prone to stay in the moderation queue for days or weeks before getting approved. Imagine if you uploaded an image for GB that you didn't see on the site that day, that week, or that...month. Wouldn't you be wondering why and let it discourage you from contributing again? And yea, sadly it still happens. Now that the queue has been cleared (which is great), we are trying our best to address the complaints that resulted without making a dramatic shift in the way the site is run or scaring off people from contributing or mods from helping approve images. Years and years and years ago, before we accepted low-quality artworks, many new artists in the community felt that this website was judgmental and unwelcoming. There was a strict moderation guide to follow that listed every detail under the sun (over-emphasizing), and 60+ moderators, most of which became inactive. We had complaints from both artists and mods with this method and moderators who'd get offended from being moderated. I was uncomfortable with how the site was being run. This is when my ex and I were GB partners. When we separated, I threw that out the window and welcomed new artists to the site with open arms and later the quality filters were created for our mods best judgement. This is tricky because we all have our own opinions / bias that need to be kept in check. That's not to say that there aren't images we can't accept. For two of the most extreme examples... drawings that look like they were made by a K grade student, obviously, or collages that were masked by someone with 20/200 vision or belligerently drunk. Lol, making artwork while angry and drunk! Anyway, what I define as low-quality is a small .jpg (still) image around 400xX, collages with some visible cut-out lines (I see some get approved as med-high quality that I'd have set to low-quality as personal opinion), pixelation, too much out of focus, etc. In regards to this topic starting on the opportunity of a .gif that I approved, I did in fact overlook the quality filter. I bumped it down to medium-quality. The average size of animated .gifs are small and this image has detail. Both of which, coming from an industry producer, should be an exception to our quality tier as long as these two factors apply. As you might already know, GiantessKatelyn.com is my main website - I've heard time and time again that my fans cum to my video's .gif advertisements. They are only 400-600xX which makes it obvious people enjoy them. Yes, I have my own opinions, and I fully respect and welcome your opinions and our moderators opinions, comfortably, and personal liking. Everyone is more than welcome to make a suggestion on an image's quality filter and tags. It seems we need more image quality-filter suggestions from members, so we can learn from the popularity. When a member becomes a regular at helping with good tag/filter suggestions, it grabs our admin and mods attention in possibly welcoming the member to join our moderation team. *What do you define as low quality? Type it out. Get noticed. Link to an example on GB. Start a constructive debate.* The more response we get here, the better.

Due to the recent issues, anyone who starts such activity will be outright banned without warning. In these cases, most if not all related comments will be removed so it's not worth anyone's time to respond to such comments. GiantessBooru supports a variety of fetish imagery and text but it will not support personal attacks on our members. As some of you may already know, there are people out there who get pleasure out of causing other people distress. It's a form of sadistic pleasure, control, and dominance that can be exploited under any the guise of any context. Without your participation, they are powerless and forced to go elsewhere to find their means. There has been cases in which such people have already been banned and later came back under a new username. Their trouble doesn't last long though, and in an optimistic light their repeated attempts have inadvertently strengthened GiantessBooru as it forces us to implement new and stronger systems. A few new upgrades have been in line, one of which we are now working on with top priority.

Here are my suggestions / thoughts: - When viewed at 100%, everything feels a bit papery as if the characters are made out of the stuff rather than feeling like it's printed on a page. But this isn't a problem when viewed scaled down to fit the screen! I really -love- texture, so maybe differing textures (skin, clothing, etc) would be a worth while? (Or not! I really have no idea what I'm talkin' about here.) - I'm a huuuuge fan of seeing the tiny people react to what's going on. Either through their eyes getting to see their friends or just up close so I can taste their fear or pleasure! >=D Micro / Giga is always tricky in this aspect, because while human shaped dots can work it still needs closeness at times to connect the viewer with the victims emotionally. The difference in enjoyment is kind of like softcore vs hardcore porn. I think! - Last thing! I'm not entirely sure if the inner mouth color matches the giantess. For example, the inner mouth is really light pink, but judging by her skin I'd expect it to be a darker, reddish tone. Light pink feels more like very fair skinned (Bonnie!) for example. Same with the teeth - I find teeth are just as racially diverse. However the reason I haven't done this already is that it would create a potentially more frustrating problem- sets of images, image collections, and user uploads would be scattered all over the place. Right now there's a 16 page image story of mc_cuf's Jessi and Vicki. That would easily be scattered over three pages and completely out of order. People would be screaming "source" even louder as they wouldn't see the full set. I could add a small "order by" section that would allow you to order the images by upload or by approved. I'd try to keep it as minimalistic as possible. If you guys like that idea I'll gladly add it to the list of stuff to add on my next Giantessbooru update day. :)

THAT has been the extent of your so called "opinions" you are attempting to defend. Name calling and belittling people is not going to cut it here. Neither is drama from other sites. You can either lose the attitude, or not comment at all. I've given you my final warning. The community still moderates this site. Giantessbooru has 50+ moderators, who moderate at all times of the day and make up a huge selection of the community. They even moderate each other. They do their best so that the community doesn't have to deal with scrolling through pages of untagged, low quality artwork. Sizebooru MAY have been great at the time, but the traffic and sheer load of images that has become this website could never have been handled in the way it was previously. (Pages unmoderated and untagged!) You'd have a site no one would want to browse with thousands of low quality collages and poser sets that would be completely unsearchable and untagged. It's a scaling issue, the old site could not handle or support itself, and there was no such thing as moderators- only admins who had access to the entire back end of the site. The site could not scale with the traffic it was receiving, and went down numerous times because of it, and finally permanently. Changes had to be made so that the site could at the very least [i]exist.[/i] The male button- you can turn it on or you can turn it off. It's an option.

They look critically at how a collage or drawing was constructed. They do this, because they have to- allowing every single image to pass would absolutely flood the site with low quality content, which is produced in far greater numbers than high quality content. That's just how this site is set up. If an artist asks, a moderator can give a solid, constructive reason (non-emotional) on why the artwork was denied and what to do in the future to get their work approved. You, on the other hand, are just leaving spiteful comments on artwork you don't like or by artists you have a grudge against. There is a vast difference.

(At any given time there are usually 300+ images in the queue) The whole point of a "booru" is for the community to organize and fill in the gaps, not for the volunteer moderators to be the sole organizers of the entire site. Be glad that the site is at least 100% tagged, the previous incarnation of this site had 60%+ of its database completely untagged and unsearchable, with no moderation at all to help. Tags weren't even required on the old site. If you think the tagging of an image needs work, please, help yourself and adjust the tagging of an image.

(In other words, to get my feet wet again!) It was also the perfect project size to complete and release before my big move across country in just a few weeks. X_X Although I must admit, after two solid months of working on foot scenes, I am now DYING to go all out with vore and real giantess scenes.
