Thanks to Minecraftdubstep for inspiring me to finally start work on some of the pictures I'd set aside, and also for alerting me that something like gimp exists. Yay, free software! I'd really appreciate any critiques for this work. My own immediate observation is that the lighting of the city seems to clash with the lighting on Fey's body and stops it from blending in with the picture. I didn't really bother trying to work with the light because I have no idea how to do shading-type stuff yet. :(

Some of the text is borderline non-sensical, and some of it is just plain odd. Like, more odd than one would expect even from porno comic text. On the other hand, the writer is dropping little idioms left and right (成语) that I wouldn't expect anyone to get from from a dictionary. Maybe the original is Japanese, and Japanese people are also aware of Chinese 成语？

That seems like a good way to avoid having to contour the shadow around the texture of the city. I'm not sure what you could really have done about the buildings... the level of detail again just doesn't quite sync up. The legs are pretty sharp, and the skyscrapers are pretty fuzzy. I like these two pics together otherwise, though. Cool how the buildings fit into the bend in her legs!

Whether or not one stumbled upon the image unwittingly has no bearing on whether or not one should post simply to express dissatisfaction with the content. The answer to BigMobe's pregnant query is that his presupposition is flawed. It's a matter of opinion, not fact, and other users don't think incest ranks among the most disgusting things on the planet. It's on the site because some users get off on it. Just to clarify my tone, cuz text is ambiguous, I'm not peeved or offended or anything. While I actually do find incest kind of provocative, (it's the 'forbidden fruit' aspect), it's not really something I actively seek out and I totally understand why it would make you uncomfortable, BigMobe. The trend of dismissing other fetishes as 'weird' or 'disgusting' just seems to me absurd generally, and especially so in the context of this website... We're off the deep end, folks. I'd recommend more filters but I'm not about to help accomplish that and... I dunno, they seem almost a bit divisive to me. Maybe I'm reading into this too much but I feel the filter carries an implication of exclusion that also seems a bit out of place on this site.

I'd say it's 'next,' but it's pretty long and text-heavy so I might work on less intimidating ones first. (Also I probly won't have time to do translating again until Thanksgiving break). This comic also has an awful lot of pretty small traditional characters, which I'm bad at reading even when they are people-sized. (This page in particular is a poor example, other pages are much worse). I say this because if you happen to know anybody who could read these characters and even just type them out for me, even if they can't type them out in simplified characters, I'll be able to tackle this bad boy in a much more timely fashion. That goes for everyone, if you happen to know anybody who can help me with this. Koto 10/16/2013 4:40:26 PM Rating: 0 Let me draw finer distinctions for the fourth point: -When the superimposed 'giantess' is doing the 'model' thing it actively hurts the believability because the poses and facial expressions are themselves surreal. Look at the expression on that Victoria's Secret model's face in the next ad you see. What on God's green earth is going through her head right now?? Chances are she's making a face that doesn't communicate any real emotion, and only makes sense in the context of an advertisement. When that sort of image is pasted into a giantess collage, it makes my brain think 'fake' even before it considers the proposition that the model is 1,000 feet tall. This typically actually hurts the image, though again I bet if I went through this entire booru I'd find an exception. -When the superimposed model is NOT doing a model thing, but is also ignoring/not interacting with the image into which she's been pasted, then it comes down to whether or not the combination makes sense to me. -Is she walking through the streets and looking at the camera or seemingly into space? If so, shouldn't she be looking down, either to watch her step or enjoy it, or maybe peering into a building or at something around her? -Are there micros climbing or attacking her and she's not paying them any attention? If so, shouldn't she be either enjoying or disposing of them? Is there some reason evident in the image that she would be distracted by something else? Is she looking at the camera again?? (This usually hurts the illusion for me, if you couldn't tell). -etc etc, on a case by case basis. It can certainly work that she is ignoring the micros if it is somehow communicated, through a caption perhaps or better yet through the image itself, that she either considers the micros beneath her notice or is unaware of them. I'm curious how universal my ideas are on this point. What do other people think about my ideas on the believability of the content? (Starting with point 4 above)

Koto 10/16/2013 4:26:35 PM Rating: 0 My experience = made some stick-figure collages once with MS Paint before I realized that other macrophiles exist and REAL artists make GOOD pictures. I also have no idea what the limitations are of 'Gimp 2.0,' and will be talking based on what I know people can do with Photoshop. So take this with a grain or two of salt. I think this is a solid collage, and I'm more happy for seeing it. You have added to the sum total of pleasure in my life. Thank you. I'm only going to mention things that I think you could do to make it *better* and I will introduce them from most to least important. 1) The background is in sharper focus than the foreground models. Compare the lines around the nipples and the hair to the lines in the city. Where the models you want to impose aren't in terribly sharp focus, perhaps consider blurring background a bit. 2) The lines on the shadow are straight, as though the shadow were falling across a flat surface, when in fact it falls across a surface textured by a little city. The sort of patience that must go into that sort of detail seems intimidating to me, but that sort of detail is important. Without it, it seems like the models are posing in front of a *picture* of a city, not a city. 3) The shadow doesn't seem to match the lighting on the body... The shadow makes it seem like light is hitting her from the viewer's angle, but the light on her body looks like it's coming from center - above to me. It's a little detail that I can't articulate unless I'm looking for it, but I definitely pick it up subconsciously and think that something looks 'fake.' 4) This one is probably more controversial. In terms of content (this has nothing to do with the technical aspects of your image editing), I find that the most believable collages often involve some sort of interaction between giantess and micro. It's a hard sell you're making... you want my brain to believe the impossible and my brain knows going into this that you have, in fact, doctored this image. Once you've introduced this idea that a giantess exists, it seems in your best interest to reduce the 'surreal' factor in any other way you can. When I see two giantesses getting it on atop a little city, and they don't seem to acknowledge the little city, that seems even more surreal yet. On the other hand, this isn't too bad. I suppose if the giantesses are getting it on then there is good reason for them to not be interacting with the city at the moment. The models that really hurt are the ones posing and making 'model' faces that nobody really makes unless they're posing for glamour shots. I'm sure there are even collages I've seen where there was no interaction and it worked just fine. I can't think of any off the top of my head or I'd try to communicate some sort of distinction... Anyway, again this isn't a huge problem here anyway because I can see what would distract the giantesses here. (It's the cunnilingus). Still, though, thank you for making this and I hope you keep at it!
